I would like to raise a serious complaint regarding the execution of FHTC (Functional Household Tap Connection) work in our area. The agency/contractor has not provided proper household water supply connections as per the prescribed guidelines. Instead of giving connections inside the household campus/premises, they are simply installing connections near the roadside and leaving the work incomplete. The following major issues have been observed on the ground: FHTC connections are not being provided inside household premises as per government norms. Many connections have been installed without proper grouting and without standposts. In several locations, pipelines have not even been laid, but billing/payment has reportedly already been claimed from Jal Nigam. The department/agency is showing 100% FHTC completion in records, whereas the actual ground reality is completely different. Complaints are being closed without proper site inspection. False and misleading reports are being submitted to show completion of work.
